Una segunda residencia donde arquitectura e interiorismo se funden en una experiencia de calma y continuidad

En la Costa Blanca, esta vivienda redefine el habitar mediterráneo a través de la contención, la materia y la integración con el paisaje. Diseñada por Pasqual Giner Arquitectura junto al estudio de diseño de interiores Auñón Cabrera, se concibe como una segunda residencia para una pareja holandesa que buscaba un refugio sereno frente al mar.
El proyecto se articula en tres niveles adaptados a la topografía natural. Travertino y madera de roble configuran un lenguaje atemporal donde interior y exterior se funden en continuidad. Pavimentos que recorren estancias y se prolongan hacia terrazas, vistas que alternan privacidad y panorámica, y mobiliario a medida que refuerza identidad y calidez, construyen una experiencia espacial esencial y habitable.
La materialidad es el hilo conductor: texturas honestas, iluminación integrada y mobiliario diseñado a medida transmiten la filosofía del estudio —habitar la belleza de lo esencial—, donde técnica y emoción conviven en armonía.
Más que una vivienda, este proyecto es un manifiesto de interiorismo mediterráneo contemporáneo, donde lo bello es funcional y lo funcional, bello.

On Spain’s Costa Blanca, this residence redefines Mediterranean living through materiality, restraint, and integration with the landscape. Designed by Pasqual Giner Arquitectura in collaboration with Auñón Cabrera Interior Design Studio, it was conceived as a second home for a Dutch couple seeking a serene retreat by the sea.
Organized across three levels that adapt to the natural topography, the house combines travertine and oak wood to create a timeless language where indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly. Continuous flooring extends from interiors to terraces, while carefully framed views alternate between privacy and openness. Bespoke furniture and integrated lighting reinforce warmth and proportion.
Material continuity and technical precision are infused with emotional sensibility, reflecting Auñón Cabrera’s philosophy of inhabiting the beauty of the essential. More than a residence, this project stands as a manifesto of contemporary Mediterranean interior design, where beauty is functional and function is beautiful.
