Un proyecto de interiorismo de retail donde la luz, la artesanía y la materialidad construyen una experiencia gastronómica vinculada al mediterráneo

En la Costa Blanca, Mimosa Brunch nace como un proyecto de diseño de interiores para restauración concebido desde una idea sencilla: crear un lugar donde la experiencia gastronómica y la experiencia espacial formen parte de una misma narrativa.
Ubicado a pocos metros del mar, el espacio se desarrolla a partir de una sensibilidad mediterránea contemporánea, donde la luz natural, los materiales nobles y la proporción generan una atmósfera serena y acogedora. Más allá de diseñar una cafetería, el objetivo fue construir un lugar con identidad propia, capaz de transmitir calma, autenticidad y permanencia.
Uno de los elementos protagonistas del proyecto es la celosía artesanal de barro realizada a mano, una pieza que organiza el espacio y aporta profundidad visual mediante el juego de luces y sombras. Inspirada en la tradición constructiva mediterránea, esta intervención conecta el pasado y el presente a través de una materialidad honesta y atemporal.
La relación entre interior y exterior fue una de las premisas fundamentales del diseño. Los grandes ventanales permiten que la luz recorra el espacio durante todo el día, mientras que la terraza se entiende como una extensión natural del interior. Las jardineras, la pérgola y los elementos diseñados a medida refuerzan esta continuidad espacial, favoreciendo una conexión fluida con el entorno.
La selección de materiales responde a una búsqueda consciente de equilibrio y bienestar. Tonos tierra, maderas cálidas, fibras naturales, mármol y cerámica artesanal conviven en un lenguaje sobrio que pone en valor la textura, la luz y la experiencia sensorial. Cada decisión fue tomada para crear una atmósfera capaz de acompañar el ritmo pausado que define la vida mediterránea.
El mobiliario combina piezas seleccionadas cuidadosamente con elementos diseñados específicamente para el proyecto. El mostrador de recepción, la pérgola exterior, las jardineras y diversos elementos fijos fueron desarrollados a medida para reforzar la identidad del espacio y garantizar una experiencia coherente en cada detalle.
Mimosa Brunch representa nuestra manera de entender el interiorismo comercial: espacios capaces de generar emociones, fortalecer la identidad de una marca y transformar gestos cotidianos en experiencias memorables. Un proyecto donde la materia, la luz y el diseño trabajan juntos para construir una nueva forma de habitar la restauración mediterránea.

On Spain’s Costa Blanca, Vivienda Costeres emerges as an architectural manifesto where geometry and materiality engage in perfect harmony. The interplay of stone and wood, combined with precise volumes, creates a timeless language that enhances the spatial experience.
Material continuity is one of the core elements of the project: flooring that extends seamlessly between indoors and outdoors, noble finishes that add warmth and identity, and bespoke furniture pieces that strengthen the character of each space. Mediterranean light flows as another material, highlighting textures that evoke serenity, proportion, and authenticity.
More than a residence, this project reflects the studio’s philosophy: inhabiting the beauty of the essential, where beauty is functional and function is beautiful. An interior architecture where technique and emotion coexist, and where every detail embodies craft, proportion, and calm.On the Costa Blanca, Mimosa Brunch was conceived as a hospitality interior design project built around a simple idea: creating a place where the culinary experience and the spatial experience become part of the same narrative.
Located just a few metres from the sea, the space is shaped by a contemporary Mediterranean sensibility, where natural light, noble materials, and carefully balanced proportions create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond designing a café, the goal was to create a place with its own identity, capable of conveying calm, authenticity, and a sense of permanence.
One of the defining features of the project is the handcrafted clay screen, a bespoke element that organises the space and brings visual depth through a constant interplay of light and shadow. Inspired by Mediterranean building traditions, it connects past and present through an honest and timeless material language.
The relationship between indoors and outdoors was one of the project’s fundamental principles. Large windows allow natural light to move through the space throughout the day, while the terrace is conceived as a natural extension of the interior. Custom-designed planters, the pergola, and bespoke architectural elements reinforce this spatial continuity, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding environment.
The material palette reflects a conscious pursuit of balance and wellbeing. Earthy tones, warm woods, natural fibres, marble, and handcrafted ceramics coexist within a restrained design language that celebrates texture, light, and sensory experience. Every decision was made to create an atmosphere that supports the slower rhythm that defines Mediterranean living.
The furniture combines carefully selected pieces with bespoke elements designed specifically for the project. The reception counter, outdoor pergola, planters, and various fixed features were custom developed to strengthen the identity of the space and ensure a coherent experience in every detail.
Mimosa Brunch reflects our approach to commercial interior design: creating spaces that evoke emotion, strengthen brand identity, and transform everyday rituals into memorable experiences. A project where materials, light, and design work together to redefine the way Mediterranean hospitality is experienced.
